Post graduate diploma in management is full time two year programme .pgdm is approved by all india council for technical education (aicte) ministry of HRD govt of india. Pgdm is equivalent to full time mba programme . pgdm is industry intergrated programme. Admission in Pgdm programme equips with fundamental management skills and in-depth knowledge of their chosen area of specialization.

For Pgdm admission eligiblility for admission must have CAT/MAT / XAT/ATMA or any other national board to apply. After appliying for short listing will be done on the basis of academic and mat/cat/xat/atma score . only shortlisted candidate will be called for GD/PI session.

Final selectionin Pgdm admission will be on basis of evalution of the applicant academic record , work experience (if any ) , cat/mat/xat score, group discussion and personel interview .

Academic performance in graduation , class x, xii , debate , current affairs , essay witting , written test then personel interview is the final stage of selecton process in Pgdm admission.

Eligiblity for pgdm admission is , the candidate must process a bachelor degree or equivalent with 50% aggregate marks in any disciplne under 10+2+3 system from a recognized university. A Graduate Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondry schooling (10+2) or equivalent. Candidate appearing in the final year bachelor degree are also eligible for pgdm admission.

Pgdm is two year programme . first year provides a balanced foundation in the basic discipline of management after completion of three terms in the first year, the student undertake summer internship in industry for gaining hands – on experience in Pgdm admission i.e S.i.p is six to eight weeks duration . As a part of s.i.p , every student submits a detailed project repot and make formal presentation to a panel consisting of faculty and external members from industry/ academics after Pgdm admission.


Pgdm second year provide dual specialization ,the pgdm offer a unique feature of adual major , where by a student can choose course from two areas of specialization . Thus having a broader choice of careers.

Final research project is undertaken by each student under the guidance of faculty member as a part of academic curriculum requirement during term. Students are expected to enhance their integrative learning through application of inter – disciplinary conceptual knowledge and skills, on decision making problems faced by the industry and business etc.
